About
I’m Can Obuter, based in Kadıköy, İstanbul. My work moves between competitive sailing, visual communication, and the infrastructure behind reliable digital products.
Profile
I started sailing in 2003 and developed through youth national-team competition into professional skippering, race tactics, coaching, offshore campaigns, and international one-design racing. Alongside that career, I trained in graphic design and built hands-on expertise in Linux, networking, virtualization, storage, containers, automation, and self-hosted AI.
That combination shapes the projects here. Sailing products begin with real tactical and operational constraints. Infrastructure work is designed around evidence, safe boundaries, and recovery. Interfaces carry the discipline of visual communication.
